Something about Richie...

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York until the age of fifteen. As my Father's business grew, we moved out to Long Island, New York for "The Better Life".

When I became seventeen I began College at The University of Hartford in Connecticut.

From there I began my career back in New York City in The Garment Center at a Women's Apparel Manufacturing Company. I was involved in both Design and Sales. I quickly learned to build relationships and hone my sales skills. I became partners in two companies in which I was President in CET Fashions, Inc. and Vice President in Cue Fashions, Inc. The sales between both companies grew over the years to about 35 million dollars. We sold to major Chain and Department Stores nationwide.

In 1996 I also started a Website Company called Eons Ahead, Inc., developing Websites for New York based companies. Through Eons Ahead, I was able to develop my marketing skills.

In 1998, after 28 years in the same business I sold my shares in the Apparel Companies and sold The Web Developing Company as well. My family and I decided to make a major change in our lives. We relocated to Ahwatukee in Phoenix, Arizona. We relocated after visiting close friends who moved there before. The first thing that won us over was the Beauty of Arizona. Then it was the climate. We had enough of the cold and wet weather that is characteristic of the Northeast. In New York, if you see the Sun once a week that was good. Now in Arizona it is the opposite.

Buying a home here was unbelievable. Homes here are about half or a third of the price of a similar home back in New York. And the property taxes here in Arizona are about One percent of the sales price. It made sense to make the move, I just needed to find out what will I do next for a career.

My wife Mary Ann went to Culinary School back in New York and became a Chef. She decided that she would like to open a small restaurant where we now live in Ahwatukee. We took over an existing one, beyond bagels, and made it very successful in the three and a half years we are here. In that time, I began once again to develop solid relationships with our customers. It was now time to start my new career selling Residential Real Estate specializing in the Ahwatukee, Chandler, and Tempe areas.

And due to my own experience and passion about the move that we made coming out to Arizona, I placed ads in Newsday covering Long Island and parts of N.Y.C. and The Boston Tribune. Both ads read:

Thinking about moving to Arizona?
I did and I love it, call Richie the Real Team@ 1-800-994-2488
Best Move I Ever Made.

My background in sales, developing long-term relationships, being able to listen to my clients and my marketing skills has made me successful in a very short time. I enjoy working with all my clients and giving them the full service that I believe they deserve. I personally stay in contact with my clients throughout the process of selling or buying their homes and continue to do so afterwards. I want to be their Realtor for Life.

Being in the Real Estate business is about people. It's about relationships and Referrals. I love it because it's what I do best!

I hope to do business with you too. Call me.
